Organic pineapple jam

 


I received organic pineapples from Mari Orchard, Raub so I made them into jam.

The fruit is so so sweet that I don't have to put much sugar, 50g organic cane sugar to almost 1.7kg of pineapple flesh. In fact, it will still taste great if there's no sugar input at all.

I cooked them with cinnamon stick, star anise and a pinch of sea salt. After 2 hours of stirring and simmering, it's done! Now I have 1kg+ of pineapple jam. :)
