Food - one day walkabout in Basel

We reached Basel and stayed there for a night before leaving for Dornach.

We went for a day tour in Basel town.

Found some fresh mushrooms in the market.

They sell and serve ravioli on the spot too.

We had one plate with mushroom filling, quite good. 16chf.

Happy to see organic fresh produce. We bought some plums at this booth, so yummy that we purchased twice.

Then we came to this organic cafe -UM (UNTERNEHMEN MITTE) 

We met one of the founders Daniel to chit chat and exchange ideas, thanks to Walter's recommendation.

He believed that everyone has equality hence free seating at the cafe for everyone even if one didn't order anything from the cafe. He said, everyone is an anthroposophist.

We later met him again at Goetheanum World Conference.

We stayed at a fairly new apartment where coop Supermarket is just at downstairs.

We happily shopped for organic/biodynamic breads, vegetables and other products here.
Spoiled of choices!

So we made our own dinner that night...

...as well as for the breakfast the next day.
