Homemade dessert -bubur chacha & mung bean soup

We made some local desserts for tea time, like bubur cha cha and mung bean soup.
Bubur cha cha is one of our favourite desserts, but there are a lot of work to do, so we rarely made them.
Since we have a lot of free time, let's do it!

Tapioca jelly in the making.
We used dragon as natural colouring.

Our homemade bubur cha cha!
We had sweet potato, tapioca jelly, banana, homemade taro ball (yam).
The soup was cooked with coconut milk and sugar.

My sister made quite a lot of taro balls, so we froze the extras for next use.

I cooked mung bean soup yesterday.
After soaking the mung bean for 8 hours, I slow cooked them in claypot, then added in sweet potato and gula Melaka when the beans were almost done.
We boiled the frozen taro balls separately, then only added into the soup when it's ready to serve.
It's a good combination!
