Home bake white toast

I baked a quick and easy bread for next day breakfast.
Taking a break from using natural yeast, I used dried yeast.

Vadai for CNY

Fy made vadai dal on Chinese New Year day 2.
It's our favourite Indian kuih which is deep fried of blended dal, onion, curry leaves and salt.

Managed to reduce the sourness this round, yey!
Thanks to all my kind white mice for the precious feedback so far.
I'll keep practicing.

Shokudo Japanese Curry Rice, Taman Paramount

I had yasai curry rice, and Ving had fried ebi curry rice. The curry has a hint of spiciness, creamy but not overwhelming. But I thought the rice could be better.
Baked tapioca 6 pieces, we shared. Nice.

Not bad for the first try.
They are opened for the second week only, go try to find out if it's your type of Japanese curry. :)

103 Coffee Workshop, Sri Petaling

Sri Petaling is definitely not my usual hang out place, so when I knew I would be in the area I quickly put the visit into my plan.
We reached 103 Coffee Workshop on a rainy Sunday evening.
It has a quite big space but was crowded at that moment.
Without much soft furnishing in the space, the noise could be a little too much for an enjoyable coffee time. But luckily, many people left after awhile and the noise subsided.

We had cakes for sharing.
Not remarkable but still fine to go with coffee.

Einstein Cafe, Jalan Sultan

Same row as Amo Cafe and The Front Door, Einstein Cafe is rather hidden and will be easily missed if you didn't pay attention.
Look for a red frame glass single swing door and you will be led to a surprise at 1st floor.

The charming green wall was a canvas for illustration exhibition last month.

A handmade plush doll sunbathing.

Dark chocolate cake and blueberry cheese cake, for sharing. :)

Sunday meals at home

 Apple crumble.

Rice with mixed vege.

These two meals were prepared by my sis fy.
We have some leftover apples in the fridge, so I requested her to make apple crumble.
I love her version of apple crumble, always.

For the dinner, we thought to have a simple meal as only the two of us eating.
So we had this Malaysian style of bibimbap, lol!
She used Lingam chilli sauce instead of the chilli soy paste from Korea.

Olive sourdough

I still love Sundays although my working hour is flexible.
It's still a good day to enjoy, especially when all siblings spend time together at home.

Baking on a Sunday is relaxing.
And that new Ikea wooden board!
I bought it for bread making, but it seems to be a nice setting for some photographs too. :)
