O'Coffeeclub, Millenia Walk (Singapore)

A few hours before we flew back to KL, we stopped over at this place for coffee as we were quite exhausted (from walking around).

K ki Sweets, Ann Siang Hill (Singapore)

Ann Siang Hill is such a lovely place in Singapore.
We stayed in Chinatown for the previous trip, which is within walking distance to this place.
It was a just a turn in the corner where everything suddenly becomes so serene and quiet from the busy main street.

A friend came here before for a boutique and a cafe cum shop.
Unfortunately, the vintage boutique was closed and we can only visit the cafe next to it.

The Little Dröm Store is the name of the shop, K ki Sweets shares the spaces with it.

Once you push the door open, pretty slices of cakes are exhibited in front of you.

Pullman Bakery, Millenia Walk (Singapore)

You know I'm always excited upon seeing bakeries, especially cool new ones.
I was in Singapore last weekend with friends, and I was still looking around for bakery when we're on shopping spree.

We reached City Hall station and walked through the adjoining malls until we walked out from Suntec City. The other girls spent their money happily but I'd yet eyed on anything I like. :(
Then we saw Millenia Walk across the road so we decided to have a stroll since we still got some time before departing for our flight back to KL.

Then then then, I saw this cool bakery just located at the side of the entrance, imagine me like a happy kid seeing candy shop~ XD
Finally there's something for me!

I tahan myself not to buy a lot but only this Hokkaido milk bread (half).
I got to know Hokkaido is quite famous for its milk products, so I thought this must be the best seller.

Only that when I did research online, I got to know that their curry bun is actually the featured one.

Back to the milk bread, sugar is sprinkled onto the bread. But by the time I ate it (the next morning) for breakfast, the sugar melted already. Actually if I still can see sugar, I'll just brush them off the bread as I don't favour sweet thing.
But it's not as sweet as I thought, not sure if it's the sugar, the bread has the crunchiness on the outside. The inner bun is soft and tasted like sponge cake.

I'm happy with what I've got this time, let's see what will I get on my next visit. :)

Village Cafe, Sunway Giza

I've been to Sunway Giza quite many times as it's so near to where I stay.
But I'd never thought of eating at this Village Cafe as it looks very much like a bakery to me.

Till one afternoon when I was looking for a place for lunch then only I found out they serve proper meal. On top of that, they serve vegetarian meals!

I had this green bean soup with winter melon(?), which was quite a big portion. Just that I thought the combination is kinda weird as both are in soft texture. It's not too bad, but somehow I still prefer green bean to go with sweet potato.

Here's my fuzhou mee suah.
Very big portion indeed, I took quite some times to finish it. XD
I like it a lot with generous amount of vegetables and flavourful soup.

It is situated on ground floor next to Village Grocer inside Sunway Giza Mall.

Fresh french loaf!

French loaf from The Bakery Moments today, very fresh!
Crunchy on the outside but still soft inside, just like fresh from the oven, only need to toast for a while then it's heaven! :)

Also there was once me and chenyee had dinner there.

I had coffee, which was very bitter to me.

Chenyee's smoked salmon sandwich, nice~~

I think mine was smoked chicken something, or maybe sausage. Haha, it's been a few months ago ma.
But not bad too.

The Bakery Moments at Ikano Power Centre (known as IPC now). It's located just before entering Ikea and opposite Starbucks.

Joseph@Kitchen (Revisited)

I was here again, but this time I brought MS here for lunch and coffee.

They are having set lunch 12-3pm from RM13.90 for a soup, a drink and ice cream with the main course.

That's my mushroom soup and MS' salad. She loved my yummy soup that she regretted of her choice.

She ordered tomato soup separately. I thought the sour soup base is quite appetizing, but she didn't really like it.

My veggie rice which I love the fragrance of olive oil and also generous portion of potato wedges~

MS' grilled fish. Luckily it's fresh! (She's raised in a fish village so you know how good she was at spotting fresh seafood)

Yam ice cream in full flavour, nice!
I hardly had interest in ice cream nowadays, but this one is truly a good one, not the icy type you know~

Last but not least, a good cuppa to end my lunch.
How great a life is! XD
