Wholemeal baguette + jam from O Gourmet

After our lunch, we walked around to check out what's new in the mall.
I enjoy browsing in O Gourmet at ground floor, seeing all those nice-to-see-nice-to-eat stuffs.
They have chocolates, coffee and tea, cheese, fresh vegetables and meat, breads, etc.

I will always visit the bakery whenever I see one, especially those selling fresh-from-oven kind of bread.
Apart from fresh loafs, O Gourmet also sells jams.

I bought this wholemeal baguette for RM5.30.
It's crispy at outside but the inner texture is soft, and it has nice buttery smell.
So fresh~

I also bought Wilkin & Sons' orange marmalade jam.
It's a tiny one, 28g for RM2.50.
It's just for sampling, see if there's anything magical.
But I find it just like any other orange marmalade, nothing to shout about.

That Sunday evening, we had the wholemeal baguette in Italian way at home, dipping into olive oil and vinegar.

House+Co, Bangsar Shopping Centre

I met my coursemate over lunch in House+Co in BSC on Sunday.
I was told by her that this is a house decor shop with a cafe hidden inside.

As an interior decor shop, they do take care of the design of its shop and cafe.
I like the way they have for the pendant lights.
They have a 'poolside' area which was fully taken, so we had our meal inside the cozy cafe.

The food are quite pricey, so I expect good quality of food and big portion.

I had hot cappuccino, RM10.
They serve Illy coffee.
I don't really fancy the bubbly foam, I personally prefer creamy and milky one.

My friend's order, super huge nasi lemak for RM24.
Really big portion~

My fish and avocado sandwich, RM24 too.
Not as huge as hers, but enough to fill up my tummy.

We're looking for a quick dinner before movie, so we settled it in O'briens.

Meiwan had the classic chicken caesar tossed salad filled with bread crumbs, olives, greens and chicken breast meat.
I had the hot shambo with dried tomatoes, mozzarella and basil pesto. such a huge portion that I had to take away.
Together with hot cappuccino, it's a satisfying dinner for me.

Homemade pancake

I made pancake for my Sunday breakfast again!
Last time I'd tried to put in green apple slices in my pancake, this time I let mixed vege to join the flour and egg~

Easy to make, nice to eat. ;)
Next time I'll try to improve on the texture of the pancake.

White loaf from Tesco + homemade cappuccino

I've never bought this RM1 bread before, as I didn't expect it to taste good.
I've only found out its goodness when I was having breakfast at SP home, which my mom bought it.
Truly cheap and nice!

And with the milk frother, I can now conveniently make my own cappuccino at home.

Wolf-berries + green tea bread

Sounds weird enough?
See it for yourself~

It's from RT Pastry House, quite a popular bakery in KL/PJ area.
I've been to their Subang branch, and latest is in Puchong.
They are well known for their green tea Swiss roll, one of their signature products.
I must admit it's GOOD.

Back to the wolf-berries bread.
As you can see, the wolf-berries are contained in the inner part, and covered by green tea flavour dough at outside.
Even I'm not a picky eater, sorry to say that it's edible but, it tasted weird.

wild blueberry jam & baguette

I bought St Dalfour's jam for the first time.
Usually I will read the ingredient first before I purchase.
For jam, I won't buy those with sugar as the main and first in ingredient list.
I always love blueberry, so it's the first thing that attracted me.
It's written on the lable "no additional sugar other than naturally present in the fruit".
Great! I quickly grab it. I think it's worth to pay RM8.99 for this.

New in town: Fat Spoon, Damansara Utama (Uptown)

These days our town started to have more and more boutiques and cafes having retro and old school touch.
I've just visited this newly opened cafe in Uptown for dinner today, which also has a touch of old school feel.

I grew up with bread

I had bread for breakfast since young, and also 'tapao' (as in Chinese speaking of take-away) to school almost everyday.
Here's the long story. And including a joke too.

Milk frother finally available again in Ikea Malaysia.
