Homemade organic oatmeal brown bread

It's been long long time that I last baked a bread.
And this time is my first attempt on 100% organic bread. Yes, even the active dry yeast.

I'm very happy with the outcome (I mean the look) although the taste and texture not really what I expected. It wasn't salty enough.

But it's like one great achievement of myself to bake such a bread. ;)
I got the recipe here.

The Grumpy Cyclist, TTDI

I've no idea why grumpy is in the name, but this cafe is certainly a great place for cyclists as well as cafe hoppers.
They even provide bathroom, cool!

I had Pasta di Bici minus beef bacon with black coffee.
That's The Gran Fondo in background, commonly known as big breakfast (and latte in action).

Awesome Canteen, Paramount Garden

Let me try their main meal first before uttering 'awesome'.
But so far so good.

I had black coffee, which is good.
Apple crumble with ice cream, which they use green apples that contributed the slight sourness.
I'm fine with that.
The ambiance, undeniably great. Spacious yet cosy.
The collection of books and magazines, I'm glad that I can spend my time there reading a few issues of Kinfolk. :)

And of course, the friendly and humble service.
I will come back for vege burger which is not in the menu, but the owner said will alter for me.

I will be back ya.

Pâtisserie BoutiQue, Ipoh

I was on my way to Penang from PJ, and it was about lunch time when I about to reach Ipoh on highway.
So I thought I might as well drop by Ipoh to have lunch.

I walked along this row of shoplots, went into almost all outlets and finally I chose to sit in Patissarie Boutique.

I had smoked salmon sandwich.
It actually comes with scramble egg and cheese, but I requested not to have that.
I had black coffee, which was surprisingly good.

Pun Pun, Wat Suan Dok Chiang Mai

We went to Wat Suak Dok, not for praying or visiting the temple (but we still walked around the temple la).
We were there for a vegetarian cafe hiding inside the temple.

Here it is -Pun Pun!

They have their own organic farm too.

Delicious Detox Delivery KL, D7 Sentul

I walked into the studio by chance when I was in D7 Sentul. The glass door was opened and I saw some photos inside.

Then a lady sitting in the lounge invited me to come in when I asked her. It's actually a design firm gallery sharing a unit with a raw food kitchen.

Carina, the co-founder of Delicious Detox Delivery KL told me about them, showed me their kitchen and even let me do the tasting!

Cafe DinDee, CMU Art Museum

We went to CMU Art Museum on day 2 morning, and found out that Cafe DinDee is in the compound.
A client of mine told me about this cafe run by Japanese when I told her about my trip earlier.

It's a mud house cafe, but the best thing is it's a vegetarian and vegan cafe!
How awesome!

Anchan Vegetarian Restaurant, Chiang Mai

"We provide our clients with vegetarian meals so delicious you won't miss the meat."

This is what they aim for. :)
My sis found about this vegetarian restaurant online and also is featured on Trip Advisor.

Anchan is butterfly pea flower in Thai.

 Open concept dining area.
Be careful with the mosquito in Chiang Mai, best is to bring your own insect repellent.
All the time.
