Water Drop Tea House, Penang Street

I found this tea house 滴水坊 through Foursquare when I was looking for vegetarian meal in Georgetown.

They had meal of the day- nasi lemak to offer. It was good.
The staff recommended matcha latte so I took her advice, luckily it turned out quite well.

Not forgetting the best selling item in the cafe -sesame bun.
The filling is mock char siew which is fine in taste, but the best part would be the toasted sesame sticking on the bun. It makes the bun so fragrant and crispy. Thumb up!

Pulp by Papa Palheta, Bangsar

Thanks to friend's recommendation, I came to Pulp finally after its opening months ago.

It has a nice interior, plenty of sunlight and well planned layout.
Apart from serving coffee and pastries, they also have merchandises and room for workshops.

The bar counters can be rotated so that they can have various layouts according to their preference and occasion.

There are quite a few choices for single origin coffee, I had Suke Quto (RM12).
It's organic. A pleasant one. :)

I had mushroom pie (RM12). Not really magnificent, but ok la can eat.

Organic coffee bean from Kyoto

With my simple home brewing tools and hardly being skillful, I've had very smooth and pleasant taste from this coffee.
(so sorry to my coffee sifu that I didn't really adapt the tasting skill, yet. XD
That's all that I could describe.)

Of course, thanks to JH and YY for the coffee hailing all the way from Kyoto!
I enjoy it very much. :)

Jac's on the 8th, Ara Damansara

Friend has been talking about their delicious homemade hash brown, but it's only available with breakfast set.

I was here during lunch time and I wanna skip meaty meal, so I didn't go for it.
But do try out if you love hash brown and see if you'd like it. :)

My switch from cappuccino to black coffee now.
A simple pleasure.

Mushroom and cheese burger with a side salad.
The portion was just nice and everything is fresh and homely. :)

EAT LAH Coffee Gathering, Coffee Famille

This is my first time selling homemade food.
Thanks to Coffee Famille for inviting me to join the gathering.

Organic chickpea cooked with wakame and dried chilli.
I made chilled one.
One of our favourite snack too.

I learn to make bread because I eat bread (almost) everyday.
This is my favourite recipe so far, rolled oat brown bread.
I'm proud to say that all ingredients are organic.

Vege & plum Onigiri
梅子饭团。

Project C by myBurgerLab.
The desserts are all looking lovely.

Chriss' creative bruschetta, with dry curry chicken and sliced pineapple.

Homemade lychee jam by the same person who made onigiri.

Mint chocolate brownie and pecan cupcake by Project C.

Beans Depot, Kelana Jaya

I've never been to the previous outlet of Beans Depot which is the residence of the owner.
After a few weeks since the opening, I was here with JH & YY.

That's Ms Yip the owner.
Lawrence (far right) has his 'Bakeaway' corner here too.

I had Fruity Floral, beans from 9-1 Coffee in Chiang Mai. Lawrence used it to compete in The Malaysian Brewers Cup 2014 and got himself at 2nd place. :)
My other 2 friends had Rwanda Inzovu and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe.

The natural homemade bread by another baker friend.
Finally I had the chance to taste it as I've been bugging him to make bread for me. Hehe.
That's roselle jam made by the baker's wife.
Great combination.

Vegan blueberry muffin

My first try on this recipe and I was so happy to see it turned out quite well.
But taste wise, it was a bit too salty (putting too much salt, oops!).

I'll try again!
