Little Yum Yum, Kota Damansara

I won't know about this restaurant that serves Asian cuisine, especially known for the Nyonya food, if no one brought me here.
It surprised me upon reaching the restaurant as it was quite crowded despite being hidden behind shop lots from busy road near to industrial area in Kota Damansara.

ABC stands for Acme Bar & Coffee

Another spot in KL that was in my waiting list for quite some time, and we were finally here during Hari Raya day 1 for Choiyen's birthday makan moment.

鼎泰丰 Din Tai Fung, e@curve

My last visit to this popular Taiwan-mari restaurant was...I don't remember which year, but it was when they opened their fist outlet in The Gardens.
The dining experience wasn't memorable for the food, but I only remembered their service was quite attentive.

We came here as fy never had any xiao long bao before.
So we were here on last Friday night (also hari raya day 2). As expected, we needed to wait for 10 minutes for a table, which still we were quite lucky as the queue was very long after us.

So after this dinner I must say: their food was superb! As good as the service.
Although i had no feel for xiao long bao anymore, but the hot and sour soup la mian, mushroom fried rice and the yam roll won me over.
For people favours spicy food, please try to put some chilli oil into the la mian, it was good!
And that yam roll, no space for even air with the yam filling. Lol.
The natural sweetness from yam plus the crunchy skin- I will definitely order this again next time.

RK Restaurant, Dataran Sunway

We were craving for something spicy, and I thought of Indian food.

We came to RK Restaurant.
They had just moved to this new shop lot from another one in the same area.

Salty lassi (left, RM5.90) and blueberry lassi (RM6.90).
My first time trying salty lassi, not too bad but I still prefer sweet ones.

Panner roll (RM13.90).
Indian style vegetarian crepe or popiah, perhaps.
Not too spicy but the filling is nice.

Vege skeekh kebab. (RM12.90)

LOKL 2nd visit

It was a stressed week for me.
Lucky or not, that Friday was a public holiday for Selangor.
Although I still had to attend a meeting in KL on that morning, but knowing that I would be having a lunch gathering with dear friends did help a lot.

When this salad came, we responded unanimously "so small portion?!" Haha!

Americano for myself. A good one.

Touché Pastries & More, Section 17 PJ

Chenyee went to this bakery cum cafe a few days before me.
She recommended me to try out, so I did.

It's a cosy place. The pastries displayed all looking good, I so wish to have them all. XD

The height of the chair and table is a bit uncomfortable for me, if only the chair to be a bit higher or to have a lower table.

While chenyee praised the americano, I find the cappuccino a little too diluted.

This lemon citron croissant is good! I like~

I had the brunch set as well, but I didn't take any photo.
So here's the sketch of the meal I had there.

The brunch came with sausage which is not stated in the menu.
I don't eat sausage anymore, but since it's in my plate, I just makan-lah

I hope they still look yummy to you, haha!
