Masala chai bread (vegan)

 

After brewing masala chai, why not we have masala chai bread as well?



3 tsp Earl Grey loose tea

1/2 tsp garam masala

100ml plant-based milk (I used organic almond milk this time)

180ml hot water

30g molasses sugar

7g sea salt

100g sourdough starter

100g wholemeal flour

300g unbleached bread flour

 

The whole process is just like making country loaf, except for the beginning part which I brewed the tea and garam masala in hot water first.

Wait until the water cool down to room temperature then only add in the other ingredients.


The loaf smells so good for the whole baking process!
