Veganized Texas Chicken biscuits

I tried the honey butter biscuits by Texas Chicken and it was good.

Then I stumbled upon a recipe online, so I tried it last week but made the vegan version.


It wasn't bad at all!
In fact, my sister said it's quite similar to the original except not so buttery.


I made small pieces so that it's easy to consume.


Here's the recipe I found online (my vegan version):


250g flour

4tsp baking powder (I put 1/2 tsp baking soda)

1/2 tsp salt

25g sugar

115g cold cubed butter (I substituted with cold coconut oil)

buttermilk - 140g milk (replaced with soymilk) & 2tsp vinegar (apple cider vinegar)

Cold cubed coconut oil blend with sugar. 

Blend all in a bowl, make small balls, bake for 15 minutes with 160°C.
