Invited review: The Salad Bar, Damansara Utama

Thanks again to Ivy from FOOD and Ms Melissa Wong from The Salad Bar for the review invitation.
I myself had been here for a few times before this, but I took this opportunity to try out more of the other selections.

We were first served with this oh-so-fresh orange juice, RM4.90.

Coming up with soup of the day, broccoli soup. (RM3.90)
It was quite a light one, which most of us added salt and pepper to taste.
But I was ok with the soup (cooked with potatoes too) with a little dash of pepper, just nice.

So here comes the salad part.
It has a cute name -high energy superman salad. ;)
It's with chicken sausage, cornflakes and loads of greens.
Not forgetting the toasted bread which could be found in all kinds of salads served here.

(All supersalads  in FULL size -RM11.90, half size -RM6.90)

Another interesting name for the salad -Old Granny's Ceasar Salad.
It consists of cheese and grilled chicken.

Spicy salad -spicy teriyaki chicken with spicy vinegar dressing.

Tropical Fruit salad.
As the name suggested, it's refreshing with assorted fruits including mango and grapes.
I love the sweetness contributed by grapes!

Red. That simple.
It's with red lettuce, find out the rest. ;)
It's my favourite salad of all, by the way.

It's pasta time!
(All pastas a la carte selling at RM7.90)

Tomato pasta -spaghetti with tomato puree, basil, celery, carrot and onion.
A rather healthy choice for pasta.

Spicy chicken spaghetti with chilli padi and basil.
For the spicy food lovers. (like me!)

Another one with chilli, this is chilli mushroom spaghetti.
Well, obviously it's with chilli, and mushroom, that simple.

For sandwich lovers, you can opt for Turkey Club Sandwich (new item!)

They also have this TSB Hugo Special which you can choose your bread (ciabatta, wholemeal bread, brown bread or tortilla wrap) with your choice of fillings (roasted beef, roasted chicken, turkey ham or smoked chicken slice).
It's new in the menu for RM9.90 each.

Last but not least, dessert time!
We were served with home made yoghurt + assorted toppings. (RM4.50 with one topping)

You can choose from fresh fruits, dried fruits and nuts.
Every extra topping is charged with only RM0.50 each.

Almond flakes, apple, water melon, grapes, mango, raisins... choose your favourite!

To serve you better, they even have this delivery service to home and office. It's free delivery for offices in Uptown (with terms & conditions apply).
