Oat molasses sourdough bun (vegan)

 


It's actually the first type of bread I made 5 years ago.

That time I was using dried yeast to make. Then I developed a recipe using sourdough starter for it, and I'm glad that it is well received by my friends and customers. I myself love it too!


Using blackstrap molasses and molasses sugar, these ingredients give the darker tone to the bread, as well as the unique taste from blackstrap molasses. It's vegan as I'm using soy milk and coconut oil.

It's good as 'grab and go' bun, thanks to loads of rolled oat inside. :)
