Homemade chickpea snack
Chickpea is such a versatile ingredient, and it's high in protein too.
I've made hummus, chickpea crackers and chickpea pie with it. This one is rather simple.
Soak chickpea overnight, then slow cook in pot with water, kombu, dried chilli and sea salt.
It could be a snack or a side dish for meal. It can be kept in the fridge for a few days.
