The promotion started already, with one extra surprise -Shabu-shabu buffet customers at Menara Hap Seng's outlet can get Carlsberg bucket for RM30++ only !

A special thanks to Ivy for the food review invitation here, I was excited as I love Japanese food!

Let's have a tour before sitting down to enjoy the meal.

VIP room.

Let's check out the food selection.
All sorts of sliced meats such as duck, chicken, lamb and beef are ready to be served.

As a fan of Japanese food, tamago yaki is not something new to me, but I couldn't stop having a lot of them that night! They are always yummy~ ;P

Of course, you can find sushi here too, with fresh ingredients.

Assorted soup pastes and sauces were nicely displayed.

Here's the star of the night - live baby lobster!
They were so 'lively' that some even crawled out of the container~
And we were lucky as it is not available every day.

If you are not a meat lover like me, check out the fresh vegetables section.

These are a must for shabu-shabu a.k.a. Japanese style steamboat.

 Fresh fruits are also available.

For desserts.

So shall we start now? :)
 Here's our personal shabu-shabu pot.
It's easy to handle as the temperature setting is only 1-2-3 for you to select.
The size of the pot is just nice for one person use, not too big till you need longer time to boil your soup or encourages you to put in too much stuffs before you found that your food is overcooked.
We were served with cold green tea that night. Fresh juice is also available.
We were greeted by Debbie, the cute Marketing Manager of Nagomi.
She explained to us about the promotion they are having now before we start feasting on the food.

I started my meal with sushi, sashimi, tofu and pickled ginger while waiting for my soup to boil.
I had loads of sashimi too, the fish was so fresh that you can taste its natural sweetness by eating raw.
For SY a meat lover, he had tried all types of meat - sashimi, duck, beef and lamb.
His favourite was the lamb meat.

From here you can the selections of seafood - lobster, tiger prawn, flower crab, oyster, mussel and clam.

Other than the original soup, we can have other soup pastes to be added in too, like
  • Kimuchi paste
  • Ginger paste
  • Spicy Miso Toban paste (Japanese bean paste)
I didn't add in other any paste as the original soup is already good enough for me, so that I can have a real taste of the fresh ingredients they offered.

8-9pm is the happy hour that you can get to eat freshly cut sashimi including the hot item, salmon!

Thanks to Debbie for receiving us with warmth and Jack Chan, the head chef of Nagomi for the food on that night.
We're certainly enjoyed ourselves very much. :)
