Samporee, Bukit Mertajam Penang

We're on our way to Penang Island for George Town Festival last weekend, and we decided to stop by Samporee for lunch.
It's about 10+ minutes from the highway exiting at Seberang Jaya.

Samporee is situated inside an organic farm named Hillside Organics, a home to the young family of four.

They have the menu written on the board as it changes according to what they have in the season.

There are some heirloom cherry tomatoes, lemon, guava, dragon fruits and chempedak from their farm for sale. Not forgetting their homemade sourdough bread which they bake with wood fired oven.

We ordered sourdough focaccia as bites, nasi lemak with biryani rice, soursop smoothie and guava juice.

Dad had the bamboo shoot and chicken with rice at the back while that's pesto pasta at the fore.
Both were incredible!

This is the star of the day -french toast!

The visual alone already made me thought this should be good, and yes it didn't disappoint.
It's their homemade sourdough bread with guava, dragon fruit and pomelo from the farm.

Dragon fruit trees in their farm.
