Ettora, Solaris Dutamas (Invitation)

I've been drowning myself in a sea of work recently, hence the slow update.
So now before I'm off to South Peninsular for a friend's wedding during the coming weekend, let me enlighten you with plenty of sweetness from this newly opened world class gourmet gifts shop cum cafe. Chocolates, cookies, coffee, tea...you name it!

Thanks again to Ivy from FOOD and Ms Georgianna Das, the managing director of Ettora for the review invitation.

Once entering this nice little cafe-like shop, you will be greeted with these displayed pretty Belgium chocolates.

How could you resist them? ;)

We were served with assorted chocolates, cookies and cakes.

Since it is a gift shop, they already have a few ideas for gifts on shelves.
Just choose which one to include in your gift, and they will prepare your gift with their own in-house packaging/gift box.

Nice lighting.

The cafe corner with comfortable seats.
One of their main attraction -Belgium chocolate.

Their collection of classic cookies.

We had latte and americano to go with the desserts: Belgium chocolates, brownie and cookies.

Spot a piece of cake in our serving?
That's their signature brownie, which is named 'Food for the Gods'.
Mind you, this is soooo good!
I usually couldn't tolerate sweet stuff, but this one is beyond my expectation~

Fruit cake.

I'm a fan for dark chocolate only, so Chenyee is the observer for the chocolates.
She agreed with Ms Georgianna that the chocolates don't make you feel heaty even after a few serving. She likes the round one with white creamy filling (picture above).

Apart from these sweet things, they also have assorted organic teas on shelf.

(from left)  Ginger Glow, English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Chamomile, Green Sencha and Black Chai.

I'm not a tea person, so again Chenyee had the serving the taste.
She had ginger glow, which she loves the mild hint of ginger and lemon grass.
For the uniqueness, she bought a box of this tea.

Before you think these are all they have, not yet, they even have jams!
I love jams~
I'd eyed on this spiced mango chutney, unfortunately I still have a few jars of jams in my fridge.
To get the most freshness from the jam, I vow to come back to grab them once I finish at least 2 jams of my own, hehe (evil grin).

So you know where to get a perfect gift now when next time you have a housewarming party to attend or visiting friends?
Check out at Ettora and they will be glad to assist you choosing the best combination.

  1. So nice being invited by the cafe itself for review. It surely is great for chocolate lovers. Any coffee there?
