Winter solstice -new flavour

Making glutinous rice balls for Winter Solstice is a must for us.
It's also the time we have fun trying out new colouring ingredient for the rice balls.

Apart from the usual 3 colours balls (white is the original, clitoria flower for the blue, and red/purple using beetroot), we tried something crazy.

That's coffee flavour for the bottom ones. ;D

After boiling in water, they turned darker in colour that makes them look like dark chocolate.
We pair them with soy milk and they do taste like bubble tea.

This time of the year is the time for the family to have reunion.
Not sure if I heard it correctly, for Chinese it also means that we are now one year older.

2015 is approaching, Happy New Year (soon) people!
