The Kitchen Table Restaurant & Bakery, Damansara Kim

I heard about its opening last month but couldn't find a good time to visit.
So when JH suggested to come here for meet-up, I'm all glad to oblige!

So nice that they have planter box full of ingredients for the kitchen. :)

The spacious space is brightly lit, thanks to the uncluttered layout and window openings of the corner lot.
One let down was the noise when it's full house, as not much soft furnishing to absorb it.
We need to raise our voice to chat.

It was a Sunday afternoon, they have Sunday brunch menu.

Carrot and pineapple cake (a fruity one! I tasted coconut too), lemon drizzle tin cake (good for me as I like lemony sourness, but my friend thought it's too sour) and 2 black coffee and one white one (coffee still have rooms for improvement, friend said the white is sort of tasteless and watery).

French toast crunch, cornflakes, macerated strawberries, gula Melaka syrup.
A lovely one! I never thought of putting cornflakes to toast and they contributed the crunchiness for that.
The only 'complain' was it's a big portion and the bottom slice of toast was a bit wet already by the time I ate it. Lol, nah it's not a big deal though.

JH had sausage with mashed potato, while YY had sourdough with butter and jam.
No complain for the sausage set, but YY had a better sourdough at elsewhere to compare.
But we were eyeing on the huge apple sourdough on the display.
I will come again to try soon. ;)

While I browsed through some write-ups for The Kitchen Table on a website, I was surprised to know that Marcus (one of the owners of the eatery) worked at e5 bakehouse that I wish to visit in London!

The look of our table. A lovely Sunday brunch.
