Opika, 1 Utama
Here's another outlet serving organic food, but there's a little difference in concept from Chef Lim Organic Kitchen.
It's located on lower ground floor next to Ace Hardware and also same area as Hokkaido Sushi in the newly renovated old wing of One Utama.
Apart from the cafe, it's also selling organic products from fresh vegetables to skincare stuffs.
I've been quite keen to try out their food since its opening, so when I met up with KH on one Friday, we headed there for dinner after getting her nod to dine in.
Nicely illustrated menu.
We had these cakes first before having the mains.
Wonder why? As Ms KH was too hungry that she wanted an instant food. haha~
Anyway, both the green tea cake (RM9.90) and black forest cake (RM13.90) were good!
Organic cappuccino, RM12.90.
Organic tea. RM7.90.
My roasted vegetables ciabata, RM19.90.
KH's carbonara, RM18.90.
We were given a 15% discount on all food as their opening promotion.
Yey!
Our food was not bad, all with the simplest ingredients.
They serve free range meat and eggs too.
Three cheers for their effort of making the organic market a little merrier!
p/s: Opika does remind me of thofood in Taipei.
On the next visit with sis, we browsed their market thoroughly.
Some of their products were on sales.
We got this Optimum's Cranberry Ginger cereal at RM15.60 (after 20% discount of original price RM19.50)
It makes a good breakfast. :)
