Yeng Keng Cafe & Bar, Penang

I was in Penang with family on one weekend, and we thought of  heading to Nostalgic Cafe for dinner.
To our dismay, it was closed.

So I thought of Yeng Keng Hotel which is still reachable on foot, so we walked there.
It is reputable for its western food especialy chicken chop.

I love the ambience.

It was a full house on that Saturday.
And we noticed that the CM was sitting across our table with his wife and friends. :)

My cappuccino. RM7.

We were not on empty stomach (as we just had assam laksa at Ayer Itam a few hours ago), so we decided to order to share, just like our old day family outing. ;D

Fish and chip. (RM22)

Aglio olio. (RM15)

Homemade mushroom soup with garlic bread. (RM8)

Club sandwich. (RM15)

The food was not extremely good, but not bad.
But one thing that I had to praise is their prompt service.
The staffs were friendly and polite.
Also there's one special treat when serving dessert -they will dim the light.
We found it weird when that happened, so we got the staff to explain.
Isn't it cute? :)
